Pray for Government collects the minimum personal information needed to operate the site. If you choose to sign up to receive prayer updates by email, we collect your email address and, under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), your express consent, the date and method of that consent, and a record you can point to if asked.
Every email you receive from us includes a working unsubscribe mechanism and our sender identification, as CASL requires. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties.
If you use the address lookup on our MP or riding pages, the address you type is sent to our own server, which passes it to a third-party mapping service only to turn it into a map coordinate. We do not store it, log it, or link it to you, and we never share it with anyone else. The coordinate is discarded as soon as your riding is identified. The lookup is optional: every MP and riding is listed on those pages whether or not you use it.
