Public duty often brings noise, competing demands, and minor debates that can easily pull attention away from essential matters. When decision-makers lose sight of primary goals, the work of government suffers unnecessarily. Intercessors can ask God to grant leaders clarity of mind, steadfast discernment, and the discipline to prioritize the core needs of citizens above trivial disputes.
Prayer
Pray that we would not be distracted by secondary issues but keep “the main thing the main thing.”
