But even as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News, so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, who tests our hearts.

Reflection

Elected leaders face constant pressure from partisan interests, media commentary, and shifting popular sentiment. When decision-makers bend to external demands rather than moral conviction and sound wisdom, policy becomes unstable and governance loses integrity. Steadfast leadership requires the courage to pursue truth, honour commitments, and seek the long-term well-being of every community. Pray for decision-makers to gain quiet confidence, discern genuine needs above political noise, and remain guided by conscience and principles that serve the common good faithfully.
