Reflection

Elected representatives face intense strain, isolation, and constant scrutiny regardless of their party affiliation. When a candidate we supported wins an election, it is easy to view them merely as an instrument for policy goals rather than a person with a family, health needs, and spiritual life. Interceding for your Member of Parliament means lifting up their personal well-being, marriage, and endurance. Ask God to grant them wisdom in private struggles, protection from burnout, and grace to walk with integrity every day.

Prayer

Pray along those lines. And if you're in a riding where your MP is the one you voted for, don't just pray that their politics will be effective or whatever. Like, pray for them.
