Pray for understanding and compassion to replace hatred
Pray for Government
Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

Reflection
Hostility and division in civic discussions can quickly erode mutual trust and leave deep wounds within communities. When political discourse hardens into animosity, leaders and citizens alike risk viewing one another as adversaries rather than neighbours. Praying for hearts to be softened opens the way for genuine dialogue, mutual understanding, and patient listening. Ask God to grant leaders and citizens the empathy needed to resolve conflicts peaceably and seek constructive solutions together.

Pray for God to replace hatred with understanding, compassion, and a desire for peace.
