Pray for Government
Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

Reflection
Political shifts, social tensions, and economic pressures often tempt people to anchor their confidence in elected officials or legislative outcomes. Yet human leaders are fallible, and policy decisions remain subject to constant change. When believers place their ultimate trust in the person of Jesus Christ, their perspective remains steady regardless of political volatility. Ask the Lord to turn hearts toward his unshakeable promises, granting courage to live with conviction, extend grace to neighbours, and seek peace within every community.
Prayer
Pray that we would rediscover real hope in Jesus, not in governments, leaders, or changing circumstances, but in the One who never changes.
