Yahweh turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Job 42:10 World English Bible
Reflection
Disagreements and sharp criticism frequently arise in decision-making spaces, creating personal strain and division among leaders. When conflict intensifies, human instinct often leans toward defensiveness or hostility. Choosing instead to intercede for those who oppose policy positions or challenge character opens the door for reconciliation and spiritual healing. Intercession softens hearts, disarms bitterness, and fosters mutual respect even amid strong differences. Seek God to touch the hearts of opponents with his favour, grant wisdom to handle conflict with grace, and work divine restoration where relationships have been broken.
Prayer
Pray for those who oppose or challenge us, asking God to bring restoration and healing as Job prayed for his friends who were also his accusers.
