Reflection
Elections naturally heighten political passions, tempting believers to place ultimate hope in earthly platforms or party outcomes. When political debates consume attention, spiritual priorities can easily take a back seat. Believers must maintain primary allegiance to God and his righteous standards, viewing civic participation through the lens of eternal truth rather than partisan loyalty. Ask that believers remain unified in Christ, anchoring their convictions in gospel truth and demonstrating patience, wisdom, and grace throughout the democratic process.
Prayer
Pray that the Church in Canada would seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, putting God’s Kingdom above all else during the election cycle.
