Pray for the church to return to its first love

Reflection
When Christian communities lose sight of devotion to Christ and reverence for holy Scripture, their witness grows dimmed and ineffective. Busy activity can easily replace quiet intimacy with God, leaving believers spiritually drained and distracted by cultural pressures. Asking God to rekindle deep affection for his Word restores clarity, conviction, and humility. Faithfulness in quiet prayer and truthful teaching shapes how believers serve neighbours and engage thoughtfully with leaders. May God renew a steadfast longing for truth and holy devotion.
