So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

Reflection

Faith-based charities provide vital support to vulnerable neighbours through food banks, shelters, addiction recovery programs, and community support groups. Official charitable recognition allows these groups to focus their resources on serving people in need without financial penalty. Ask God to preserve the legal standing of religious organizations so they may continue their work of mercy, kindness, and practical care with freedom, integrity, and wisdom.

Pray for God to protect the charitable status of churches, synagogues, and other religious organizations, so they can continue to serve communities freely and effectively.
