Legislative decisions move quickly through Parliament, often driven by immediate pressures and urgent debates. Members of the Senate are positioned to step back, examine proposed laws with careful deliberation, and offer measured counsel before legislation takes final effect. Good governance relies on this deliberate space for sober reflection, ensuring laws are sound, fair, and durable. Ask God to grant Senators discernment, independence of mind, and the patience needed to examine every bill with impartiality and wisdom.
