Pray for pure motives in community decision-making
Pray for Government
Who may ascend to Yahweh’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

Reflection
When leaders step into roles of public governance, personal ambition can easily obscure the genuine needs of those they serve. Decisions shaped by self-interest leave local communities neglected and weaken trust in civic leadership. Interceding for those who hold authority encourages a steadfast commitment to integrity and selflessness. We ask God to give decision-makers clean hands, honest intentions, and a sincere desire to seek the good of every neighbour above political advantage.
Prayer
Pray for pure hearts and motives so the decisions they make would be based on what is best for their community rather than for selfish gain or political ambition.
