Reflection
Intercessors carry a heavy responsibility when lifting up government leaders and civic decisions. It is easy to approach prayer with self-righteousness or a critical spirit, assuming we already hold the moral high ground. Allowing God to refine and correct our own motives first cleanses our hearts. When intercession springs from personal repentance and quiet meekness, our petitions reflect divine grace rather than human pride. Ask the Lord to examine every hidden attitude, granting the humility necessary to stand faithfully on behalf of others.
