Hasty decisions made in high-pressure political environments often stem from anxiety rather than wisdom. When leaders feel pressed to react instantly to every crisis or demand, fear can cloud judgement and push governments toward impulsive policy. Asking God to grant calmness and deliberate patience allows decision-makers to evaluate complex choices thoughtfully. May those serving in office receive the quiet confidence to pause, seek sound counsel, and trust divine guidance before moving forward.
Prayer
Pray for the grace to slow down and resist the urgency of fear, choosing instead to wait on God’s timing with patience and trust.
