Reflection
Stepping into federal office brings a gruelling schedule that separates representatives from home, family, and familiar community support for days at a time. The constant movement between local ridings and parliamentary sessions tests endurance, health, and personal relationships. When elected leaders experience exhaustion, decision-making suffers and personal well-being breaks down. Asking God to grant wisdom in scheduling, strength for frequent travel, and peaceful home rest helps keep elected officials grounded, healthy, and resilient in serving their constituencies.
Prayer
Pray that new Members of Parliament will quickly find a healthy rhythm in the demands of political life—especially the strain of constant travel between Ottawa and their home ridings.
