How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! Yes, to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Reflection

Elected representatives face complex policy choices, competing demands, and heavy responsibilities every day. Simple answers rarely address the difficult issues brought before Parliament. Asking for wisdom means desiring discernment that sees beyond immediate political pressure toward lasting righteousness, integrity, and the genuine well-being of every neighbour. Intercede for parliamentarians to seek sound judgment, humility, and moral clarity whenever committee debates occur and votes are cast.
