Individuals struggling with severe depression or mental illness require compassionate care, sustained support, and genuine hope. When legislative proposals consider expanding assisted dying to those facing psychiatric distress, lawmakers face weighty ethical decisions regarding how best to protect the most vulnerable. Ask God to grant elected representatives wisdom and moral courage as they evaluate legislation, ensuring that laws prioritize comprehensive care and suicide prevention over ending life. May federal leaders champion policies that affirm the value of every human life.

Pray for Members of Parliament to support Bill C-218 and stand firm against the expansion of assisted suicide to include mental illness and depression as a sole requirement.
