Pray for leaders to serve with genuine humility
Pray for Government
But not so with you. But one who is the greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.

Reflection
When authority is paired with personal ambition, decisions easily become focused on status rather than service. True leadership requires a willingness to listen, put others first, and work cooperatively with colleagues regardless of rank or influence. Asking God to cultivate a humble, attentive spirit within decision-makers helps foster trust and mutual respect in council chambers and parliament halls. May those who govern seek the well-being of others before their own recognition, valuing integrity over prestige in every discussion.
