Reflection
Political nominations shape who eventually serves in democratic offices, making the initial vetting and choice of individuals critical to good governance. When committees and community members evaluate candidates, motives can easily be clouded by ambition or short-term convenience. Wisdom is needed to look beyond charisma to examine character, honesty, and genuine dedication to service. Petition God to grant those overseeing candidate selection sharp discernment, clear moral standards, and the courage to prioritize righteousness over political expediency.
