Pray for humility and genuine love to replace pride
Pray for Government
Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Reflection
Self-reliance and pride quietly damage decision-making long before their effects become visible to the public. When leaders and citizens alike prioritize personal ambition or ideological certainty over humility, division deepens. Asking the Lord to examine motives opens the door for genuine empathy and care to guide every interaction. Seek divine light on hidden attitudes, petitioning for hearts rendered soft, compassionate, and willing to honour others in every sphere of influence.
Prayer
Pray for God to reveal where pride needs to be surrendered in each of our hearts and replaced with genuine love and compassion.
