Reflection
When winter cold settles in or household budgets stretch beyond their limits, basic survival becomes an everyday struggle for vulnerable neighbours. True community strength is revealed in how standard policy decisions and local initiatives meet the immediate needs of those lacking food, clothing, or a secure place to rest. Ask God to awaken deep empathy in lawmakers, service organizations, and local communities, moving hearts from passive sympathy to tangible support that restores dignity and provides practical relief to everyone facing hardship.
Prayer
Pray for hearts of compassion that would compel us to share our food with the hungry, provide shelter to the poor and clothing for the naked.
