Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Reflection
Tragically, sudden acts of violence leave victims, families, and responders carrying deep physical and emotional wounds. When communities endure such harm, grief and trauma can quickly overwhelm those left behind. Believers can ask God to draw close to every grieving heart, bringing divine comfort, miraculous healing, and enduring peace. We ask that healthcare workers, counsellors, and community leaders receive wisdom and strength to support survivors in rebuilding broken lives and restoring hope.
Prayer
Pray for healing and comfort for those directly impacted by recent attacks, that God’s presence would bring peace and restoration (Psalm 34:18).
