But Yahweh said to Samuel, “Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart.”

Reflection

Leadership transitions bring both opportunity and uncertainty. When citizens look to the future, discerning who will guide government decisions requires wisdom beyond mere political strategy. Divine direction helps ensure that those raised up into responsibility possess integrity, humility, and a desire to serve the public good. We ask for clarity of vision, asking that God's purpose be accomplished through whoever takes office, and that truth and righteousness prevail throughout the decision-making process.

Pray that God would clearly reveal His chosen leader for our nation.
