Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.

Reflection
Instability in the Middle East brings deep anguish to families, communities, and diplomatic leaders responsible for foreign policy. When regional conflicts escalate, security and human lives hang in the balance. Believers hold a responsibility to ask the Lord for divine shelter, wisdom, and peace over vulnerable populations facing aggression. Ask for God's protective hand to rest upon the region, for leaders to exercise restraint, and for heavenly favour to guard civilian lives against imminent hostility.
Prayer
Pray for God’s divine protection over Israel amid ongoing tensions and threats from Iran and other hostile nations.
