Reflection
Legislative changes can sometimes create uncertainty for citizens who wish to share religious convictions or moral perspectives openly. When fear of legal repercussions suppresses honest conversation, the whole community loses valuable moral dialogue. We ask God to give parliamentarians wisdom to uphold fundamental freedoms of conscience and speech. May believers continue offering gracious, truthful words that serve their neighbours, while lawmakers maintain robust protections for peaceful expression.
Prayer
Pray that any effects of C-9 would not silence people from speaking truth with love, and that our leaders would protect freedom of expression and faith.
