Evacuation places immense emotional and physical strain on families leaving their homes under stressful conditions. When thousands travel along a single road, traffic delays, fuel concerns, and anxiety can easily overwhelm travellers. Ask God for calm minds, safe driving conditions, and patience among drivers. Request physical protection along the journey, clear transportation routes, and prompt assistance for anyone encountering mechanical trouble or fatigue along the remote highway.
Prayer
Pray for all evacuees as they move to safety. There is only a single 2-lane road from Yellowknife to Alberta and the drive is a long one. With so many leaving at the same time, the roads may be jammed.
