Reflection
Political debates often stir up anger, division, and harsh words toward those who govern. When intercessors bring elected officials before God, the tone of their hearts matters deeply. Interceding with patience, self-control, and genuine kindness creates space for wisdom to prevail. Ask God to guard every believer's tongue and attitude when discussing government decisions. Pray that leaders at every level experience the honouring influence of peaceable, faithful believers who speak truth in love and seek the well-being of all neighbours.
Prayer
Pray for our leaders - MPs, MLAs, MPPs, and mayors and municipal leaders - from a posture shaped by the fruit of the Spirit: self-control, faithfulness, goodness, kindness, patience, peace, joy, and love. Let your words and actions reflect these qualities, guarding your heart and speaking life in all circumstances.
