Reflection
Individuals navigating severe mental anguish or complex health challenges often face profound isolation. Believers have an opportunity to offer tangible help, genuine fellowship, and supportive care to neighbours enduring deep suffering. Discernment requires listening closely to those in distress while upholding the dignity of every human life. Ask God to endow local congregations with practical wisdom, resources, and deep empathy to walk alongside vulnerable people when life feels overwhelming.
Prayer
Pray for the Church to discern God’s heart in the debates over MAID, and to act as His hands and feet by caring for the vulnerable, advocating for life, and showing compassion to those struggling with mental illness.
