A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:34-35 World English Bible
Reflection
Campaign periods often pull congregations toward sharp partisan divisions, making political allegiance feel more urgent than shared faith. When believers allow political arguments to fracture their fellowship, the witness of the gospel suffers. God asks his people to reflect his grace by extending patience, kindness, and understanding to those with whom they disagree. Asking for quiet humility enables believers to preserve genuine unity, prioritizing eternal commitments over temporary debates.
Prayer
Pray that, despite political differences, the Church would remain united in its mission to advance the Kingdom of God, showing love and grace to one another during this election season.
