Pray for Government
… in all things showing yourself an example of good works; in your teaching showing integrity, seriousness, incorruptibility, and soundness of speech that can’t be condemned; that he who opposes you may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say about us.

Reflection
Public discourse often demands harshness, pushing decision-makers toward posture rather than persuasion. When leaders speak with genuine humility alongside conviction, their words carry weight without needlessly deepening divisions. True courage requires defending what is right while maintaining grace toward those who disagree. We ask for wisdom for our elected officials to communicate honest principles without arrogance. May their words build understanding, reflect compassion, and honour the responsibility entrusted to them.
Prayer
Pray that God would give him bold humility, to speak truth with courage, yet with a heart full of love, mercy, and grace.
